We have a swimming pool at our home which we do not use yet we keep it full, chlorinate it, get the leaves out, operate the filter on a regular basis etc to keep it 'looking nice'. It is not warm enough for us to use.... We would like to retain it though as if/when we sell, it would be a selling point we think. Does anyone have any ideas regarding anything we could do with it but still keep it in good condition in the ground? It is a pool with a liner but is completely decked etc. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

Hi Threebongoz,
just keep doing what your are doing. I wouldn't empty it - it costs a lot of dollars to refill (unless you are lucky enough not get your water from a town water supplier). Do get a cover for it. You only have to run the pump/filter for a couple of hours each or alternate days to keep it looking good. Yes, it is definately a good selling point to have the pool looking lovely if you decide to sell. Go and visit your local "pool shop" for more advice. We had to learn from scratch when we moved in to this house, they were great. Good luck
