My computer tells me the Garden Lovers Forum decided at mid-day today that it was mid-night instead and so is half a day ahead of itself - i.e. its telling me the date is now Thursday 12/10/06! So any of you Princesses out there will have turned into pumpkins at mid day instead of midnight tonight!
The other forums are still showing the correct time.

Oh no Joy, it wasn't me but the pea that turned blue - I'm still pinkish and just an ordinary old Tart without an upper crust.
I'm a bit worried about your pea souper though - me thinks you put it under your sheet and not under 20 mattresses. Try again and maybe next time you will come out black and blue - now that would mean a true blue Princess - just like Kerry and Jeanz.

My pea got lost in the bed or got nuked in the night Your Very Majesty Princess Sweet Pea Crack of Dawn.BUTT, I may be able to vouch for dried butter beans that have a use by date of 1998 which I am valiantly trying to breathe life into. I'm expecting a miracle any day. On the stove, not in the bed cos I'm not there now.

Dear True Blue Princess Kerry -
I see you wrote at 11.58 a.m. - precisely 2 minutes before mid-day. BUTT - just think - if Moderaters Helen or Kaye hadn't corrected the date and time on this very web site it would have been 2 minutes to the bewitching hour of midnight.......and..........just think again....... you might have changed into a punkin on the strike of 12 or, worse still, you probably would have bean laying (or praying) in bed awaiting a miracle........................yes they do happen...............Pransom Hinces do turn up somtimes!
Regards your vintage 1998 model of dried butter beans - do you think, you being a Princess and all, that we could persuade Moderaters Helen or Kaye to zap this web site back to1998 for half a day, just so you can get the miraculous performance you want out of your stove and of course your butter beans?

Dear Your Very Royal Majestic Highness of High Princess Sweet Pea Crack of Dawn of the Heavenly Trumpet Solo...
I think if C & H would collaborate to turn back time to '98 or even earlier, this would be a most wonderful, magnaminimouse gesture (thanks Irene for that word) butt, we all know, that the more carefully you plan, the harder destiny will kick your butt, butt, regardless, your many minions will relax, warm in the knowledge that you are an object of such beauty, such imcomparable beauty, that pransom hinses have buttled bravely for your favours, and accordingly bean awarded the Royal Garter of The Nobel Butter Bean.
My fluffy beans to be or not, are still playing hard to get, so the plan now is to take them all to bed with me after we've all had a shower and see if they can be coerced into submission by fair means or foul. Butt, bearing in mind aforesaid musings about destiny, I would probably wake up turned inside out as a best by 1998 vacuum packed bag of mutinous beans - while morphed mutinous ones are butting it out for my prince's favours.
Yours forever,
Princess True Blue

9.39 p.m. I'm so very happy. I don't have to go to bed with my beans after all. The very idea of it sent them into survival mode and they have turned into lovely fluffies waiting a visit from the bottling Queen to preserve them for posterity. Not bad considering it only took 11 hours to achieve this miraculous state.

Kerry Princess,
Absolutely delighted your beans sprang to life just in the nick o time. I was going to suggest that after a good soaking in the shower that you plant them, the beans that is (not you). Great bean stalks would have emerged from the warm spring soil to grow up and up and up and ultimately disappear high into the sky for you to climb instead of climbing mattresses with a pea underneath. A whole new adventure could have emerged. Another time maybe Princess........?
Yes Joy, that's what's wrong - we'll make a True Blue Blood Princess out of you yet!
Meanwhile this crustless Tart is off to my Control Panel on this site to change the Time Zone.....................going to go back in time to experience a small taste of life as it used to be, food as it used to be, see family/friends that used to be, wanna join me anyone?............................................THE END (with apologies to Kaye and Clare for getting their names muddled!)
