I am looking for some disposable Chinese soup spoons to serve scallops on, as part of a finger food party. Not having much luck. Any ideas or leads would be welcomed. Thank you.

Hi Monty, While browsing thru Zarbos (Wellington) a couple of weeks ago, I came across disposable cutlery and dishes etc. made of some type of wood. Might be worth checking out, they were new to me.

How about asking at your local Chinese takeaway. They often come with takeaway wonton and other soups.

Maybe check out Catherine Bell's website (ex Epicurean Workshop in Newmarket, Auckland). It is called Epicure Foods (or similar) and she imports the disposable plates, knives, forks, bamboo skewer things, etc. so may have the spoons u are after. They are all available at good cookstores, etc. also
