Hi, Why does that advertising video keep coming on each page that I go to when looking at recipes? It automatically runs until turned off. I have enough trouble keeping my broadband bill down now. Most sites have a start button to press IF you want to watch it. When I go to a new page, I have to rush down to find and turn off the video, as it starts automatically.

Hi again, I sent in the following query to PCWorld and received 3 replies from members who had 15,000 posts to the 'press1' help forum and all agreed that if you let it run,it will add to your BB usage. Also showing the main one of the replies.
Question:-
"Does the above add to my broadband usage? On a favorite website of mine, a small video starts up automatically and is below the open page. It's quite small and can be missed when scrolling down the page."
reply:-
'Unfortunately, yes.
Having said so, since you mentioned it is your "favourite" website, the video may be loaded once and be cached for future display when you re-visit the web page again. However, if the video showcases an advertisement, then the content may be different everytime you load the page, thus the video will be reloaded from the webserver again and again."
I know that videos use up a lot of BB usage.
