Hi Bev, I freeze any cherries we can't eat as well as strawberries, and bananas. I just slice them up and freeze in an airtight plastic container. They make great smoothies and are excellent in winter for making muffins and pancakes. However, mostly mine get used in smoothies as I have 3 teenagers! I can barely keep up with demand. I just remove the pips by cutting the cherries in half and flicking the pips out and then throw in the plastic container and freeze.
