I think there was a lady (in the media recently) making meat free meat - I cant remember what it was out of though.

I haven't as yet tried it but apparently it tastes a bit like pine nuts.
I am intrigued that it is only legally able to be sold in NZ as animal food yet we have a pop up restaurant using it....
It is only a matter of time before legislation changes but in the meantime it isn't approved for people here.
