As a kid my mother used to make meatloaf from time to time, and I recall sometimes eating it elsewhere. I have tried a few in my time, but they seem very different to what I was expecting despite being unable to recall the slightest detail of what they used to be like. I know that might seem a bit strange.

Does anyone have any good old fashioned meatloaf recipes, the type that might have been popular 20+ years ago?

Maybe it was one of the older-style ones that used only sausagemeat rather than a mixture of sausagemeat and beef mince (or beef mince alone). [www.food.com]
