A club I am in will be providing food for an event and we have been asked to make slices or loaves.

While I have plenty of recipes I was wondering what people thought would be the most popular slice.

I was thinking of lemon bars, coconut rough, caramel slice? Or what else can you suggest.

What appeals to most people?

A good fruit (date) loaf is hard to go past in my book, and is very popular with menfolk. I love Luscious Lemon slice and Tan Square too.

Gingerbread loaf is my favourite. And to match that in a slice is Takaka Oaty Ginger Crunch.

Ah Ginger crunch.....I think that's the one, with nice thick teeth tingling icing!

Agree a date loaf is hard to beat as is a good lemony slice.
Something chocolatey hits the spot as well as ginger crunch with that real crunch!
