Oooooh, I'd forgotten all about looking to see what Google has put up for the RWC, thanks for the reminder Marnie. My huband and BIL are going to Eden Park tonight and I'm wondering if there is any live TV coverage of the waterfront ceremonies.

Just had a look at the Herald and 4.55 TVOne for the waterfront and 7pm live at Eden Park Maori Television. BRING IT ON! (as the front page of the Herald says today!)

I do find it cute when they use their logo just to commemorate an occasion. Its a simple way of informing us what's happening on that certain day just in case we forget about it.

Happy Birthday to Albert von Szent-Györgyi (look at today's Google Page), who if alive would not only be 118 years old but also share a birthday with my youngest son, and (1st) mother in law and her twin sister - both deceased.

Yes it's a good one again Irene - I saw it early this morning, then next time I went back to it there were only two characters there and neither would move! They must have gone on strike! Now I'm back again all's well. I used to love watching the Muppets all those years ago.

You are right Irene. When they offer us lovely Google depictions which interact with the mouse, especially if they have sound as well, it's a bit mundane when we find a 'still' when it happens!

I see it's Google's 13th.

This is 'normal' time for me on a weekday. Even though I work from a home office, I have always made sure I am disciplined and up, as when I used to leave home to travel to work.

The downside - weekends. I absolutely hang out for a sleep in, but am still up early grrrrrrr smiling smiley

Mexican theme today! The artist Diego Rivera's 125th Birthday. When we visited Mexico we saw his mural depicting Mexico's history at the National Palace in Mexico City - fantastic piece of work!
