I have experienced that several times when I've copied and pasted a recipe from my hard drive. I think it's something to do with fonts and nobody seems to be able to work out how to fix it. It seems to crop up when there are French accents in the text, but deleting these doesn't help so it could be coincidental (or maybe my recipes all have French words in them...).

I googled "Phorum Database Error" and from what I can deduce it seems that when the Phorum Database is being used by many people at once it becomes overloaded. Hence the sentence at the end "try again later".
That doesn't mean that THIS forum is overloaded, but the server that powers this forum also powers many other forums, too.

OK Thanks guys, Ill try again today.
I did copy and paste (after I had the error the first time as didnt want to lose the post).
Wish me luck...
Vanessa
UPDATE - I managed to post, I just posted my writing, not the actual recipe from the Edmonds site. (The first time I copy and pasted it I got the same error message).
I even tried changing the fraction units to words to no avail.
I wonder if it was something in the site coding that prevents copy/paste of the recipe? Just a thought.
The link worked.
Happy days
