Anyone got some interesting, unusual, handmade gifts they give or have received on Mothers Day?

Hi IngridO - not a gift as such (though it was to me!), but the best Mother's Day present I've had was when my daughter came over early in the morning, washed and vacuumed the car and made me a delish breakfast served in bed! Bit hard for her to do these days since I'm in Adelaide and she's in Perth...
I've done edible things for my (quite elderly) MIL - choc sauce, jam/curd/marmalade, and they're always well received, and don't take up much room in her tiny retirement unit.

That's what I would like! A fairy char mother (daughter) to do an overnight sparkling houseclean.

Not to mention a night away in a B&B in beautiful, peaceful grounds, where you won't be tempted to supervise the cleaning so that it's done 'your way', or even so that you don't have to listen to the dishwasher, washing machine and vacuum cleaner all going at once!

Id love a few babysitting vouchers for Mothers day - time or a chore done would be wonderful.
Consumable things also work for me, I dont want or need my family to spend money on me for things I dont need.
Flowers are always nice too
