I often have ideas in my head of what some of the Foodlover members look like based on their names and their comments - so I thought it would be fun to describe your appearance as accurately as you can in 6 words!

It's pronounced eye-lure-oh-feel. Here's another for you: arctophile.

I used to be both but I kept getting confused between them (easily done for me) so gave up being an arctophile, now I just appreciate them.

An update. At the moment, and temporarily I hope, have 2 black eyes! Had a nasty fall on the footpath yesterday, broke my glasses sad smiley, blind as a bat without them, but luckily found an old pair from many, many moons ago. Lovely people came to my aid, even called an ambulance to have me checked over.
I am sore, with battered pride, but just so thankful things were no worse.

You don't have to be myopic to have a fall, I once tripped on some slate tiles that had been laid as a pedestrian crossing. Two lovely male nurses came running to my aid and a cafe owner came out and asked them to take me across to her cafe where I could be cleaned up. Fortunately my injuries were superficial, my pride hurt the most.

The slate tiles that looked great but weren't all that practical have since been replaced with more suitable roading material.

Cuddly grandma, partially bionic, 5’ 8”, bespectacled, blue eyes, brunette hair foiled with blondy elements, bunions, flat feet, community minded and I love food and a good laugh.

Hope the above matches the imaginary descriptions people have conjured up!!

Margaret sorry to read you have had a nasty fall. You were lucky not to have broken a bone - I hope you will feel recovered very soon.
