Airfares to Europe

Airfares to Europe

I am looking to book a ticket for my daughter to head to Europe mid December until early January.
Does anyone (hopefully our resident travel agent Irene reads this) know if we will see any specials between now and then or whether specials for that time of year have been and gone?
We would prefer her to fly Star Alliance.
She is 16 and going to stay with her big sister so very exciting.

I am just on hold for an airline and spending time on FL while listening to the worst hold music ever invented.

Helen, you are 99.99% unlikely to get cheaper airfares now for travel mid December to January for Europe. You may fluke it but it may take over 40 hours travel in each direction and extremely long transit times. That is the busiest time of year to travel, not only due to Xmas overseas but also in January for tourists heading here to escape the European winter.

My recommendation.. book sooner rather than later! smiling smiley

Brilliant thank you Irene.
Unfortunately as it is just a ticket and we are booking on points we have no need for a travel agent BUT you are of course our agent when the need arises. smiling smiley
