Perhaps you machine needs a clean out.......Washing soda found on the laundry isle at CD or NW read the instructions on the container.......if you are using liquid laundry perhaps may pay to dissolve in hot water before adding to the machine........I would be inclinded to give it an extra wash without washing liquid to make sure its properly rinsed.....Just some suggestions..Good Luckby Fleur - Foodlovers Non-Foodie Chat

Right............getting back to the toaster issue..........I have bought numerous toasters.............. both budget ones from The Warehouse and Kmart ............and Top range Kambrook and Zip from Briscoes and they all have the same problem......... the middle element never hardy glows hence you have to turn the piece of toast around to get it toasted.....I have reverted back to using my grilby Fleur - Foodlovers Non-Foodie Chat

Mock Raspberry Jam 3kgs of tomatoes 1.5kg Sugar 4 sachets of 2L (or 8 sachets of 1L ) Hansells Vitafresh Raspberry flavour 1 pkt Kings Jam Setting Mix Removes skins and cores from tomatoes but NOT the seeds Cut in to small pieces. If you have a Bin Inn store near check if they had a machine where you can make you own peanut butter from smooth to crunchy with a dial which for memory 1-10 1 being smooth and 10 extra crunchy.......you buy the peanuts from Bin Inn and bring your own glass jar......and you know exactly whats going into the Peanut Butterby Fleur - Foodlovers Food Talk

When you make your tomato sauce I use Countdown own brand (Essentials) tomato paste its a 500grms jar $2 good value and I add depending on the size of the dish you are making at least half a jar..along with tinned tomatoes...........This make a really rich tomato sauce..........Trust me it a winner............and your guest will RAVE>.........by Fleur - Foodlovers Food Talk

Pickled Pork in Slow Cooker with Honey and Wholegrain Mustard I mixed together liquid honey & wholegrain mustard with a little s&p (sorry, didn't do any measuring) and poured this over the pork. I then wrapped the piece in foil and left in the fridge to marinate overnight. Yes I get the feeling some people will never try "something different".......its like taking a friend out for lunch she is reluctant to try anything shes not eaten before.....one day went to a lovely cafe lots of good healthy choices and she said really want a pie or a toasted sandwich..........she had been in NZ 36 years and never tried yogurt as well called ....she calls in yoghurt...by Fleur - Foodlovers Food Talk

I have been buying Countdown's own baked in the store 4 Seed Grain bread....they have it thick sliced, sandwich sliced and SOMETIMES unsliced......Price varies between stores in the Hutt Valley but between $3-$4......it's pretty damned good.by Fleur - Foodlovers Food Talk

Local Bin Inn has a machine when you can grind your own.,......course or smooth and take your own glass container..........Good Value as you know EXACTLY what's in the peanut butter...............and tastes pretty good on a sliced of 4 grain toasted bread with a nice (not fully ripe) banana sliced on top.by Fleur - Foodlovers Food Talk

My lambs fry and bacon with caramilised onions and gravy....cut the Lambs fry into strip like stroganoff and flash fry(30secs no longer) in hot oil then make gravy and add the liver back into the pan along with the bacon....and light as air scones.the secret half milk (soured with some lemon juice) and half water and mix with a knife.dont handle too much.into a really hot oven that your tray hasby Fleur - Foodlovers Food Talk

Caramel Filling 125g butter 125g brown sugar 400g sweet condensed milk 1. Over a medium heat melt the butter in a pan. 2. Add the sugar to the pan and mix until the sugar has dissolved. 3. Sweet Corn Fritters (Off the Watties Can and Edmonds Cookbook) 1x 410gm Can of Cream style Sweet corn 1 egg Beaten 3 Tbspn Flour Salt & Pepper to taste 1. ½ tsp or (1 tbsp) Baking Powder Combine the sweet corn, Egg beaten, Salt & Pepper.
