The vibrancy of Mother Nature

The vibrancy of Mother Nature

On the first day of daylight savings this week, out of the corner of my eye our macnut tree caught my attention - I thought it was on fire! The sun was setting and shining along the side of the house to catch the lower part of the tree which is just starting to flower. It was spectacular, but as always, by the time you find the camera and get through a couple of doors and out onto the verandah to capture the scene, the sun is slowly sinking. I'm not sure that one of the pictures was taken with a steady hand as I probably hadn't fully put the brakes on when I took the picture! I wanted to share it as I've never ever seen the sun catching the flowers like this in all the years we've had the tree growing.
Enjoy! smiling smiley
Regards,
Dawn.

Dawn, they are really beautiful. Well done on being quick enough to capture those shots.

Lorna, there's no wind today and the tree is literally alive and buzzing with buzy honey bees and by night it chirps with sparrows!
Regards,
Dawn.
