I have a Watermelon plant growing in the garden. Havent had one before so don't know how successful it will be but it has 2 watermelon on it at the moment . How do you know when the Watermelon is ripe to pick????:-(

knock it with your hand, it should sound hollow. They don’t ripen further once harvested. Store them at room temperature for short periods. Once cut wrap in plastic and store them in the refrigerator. Use within 3 days.
