I only managed to pick 6 small quinces and I still have some paste from last year I think I will use my quinces for other things this year. If anyone does want to make some the microwave recipe on Foodlovers is the way to go and you get jelly as well.

I made quince jelly for a change this year, so easy, tastes devine and looks so pretty in the jars.

Kayc, would you mind sharing your quince jelly recipe with me please. I have had a bucket of quinces given to me and I have never made paste or jam with them before. Just made crumbles. Thank you.

My mother in law has given me 3 large quinces. I cant wait to stew them down.
I have no idea or jars how to make jelly or I would as i love quinces...
Hopefully next season, then i'll be organised.

Zee, (and anyone else) here is the index to a wonderful site all about vegetable growing and what to do with what you produce. The section on jam making is excellent. I expect the other sections are, too. I just haven't got around to reading them yet.
