There's a plum sago pudding recipe on foodlovers (I was imagining it would have plums in it but apparently it's all about sultanas...which are grapes...):
Plum Sago Pudding:
4 T Sago, 1 cup fresh breadcrumbs, 1 cup milk, 1 egg beaten, 1 cup sugar, 15g melted butter, 1 cup sultanas, 2t bicarb soda.
Soak sago in milk overnight. Add remaining ingredients and pour into greased 3 cup pudding basin. Cover and steam for 3 hours keeping water 1/2 way up the sides of the basin all the time.

Also, as Marnie says, there are lots online - sometimes under the name Christmas Sago Pudding:

I have a receipe for a South African Baked Caramel Sago Pudding and when I checked the web-link from which I took it (back in 2003) the page no longer exists, so I'm going to post it here. It must be a good dessert as I have it marked as a favourite, though I haven't made it in a while.
1 litre milk
185g sago
½ tsp salt
½ tsp ground nutmeg
½ tspground cinnamon
¼ cup brown sugar
80g Butter
2 teaspoons caramel essence
4 eggs, separated
Topping
50g brown sugar
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
Soak the sago in the milk for at least 4 hours. Preheat oven to 170ºC and grease a large ovenproof pudding dish.
Heat the milk just below boiling point and add the sago, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon. Simmer over very low heat for 10–15 minutes, or until the sago is transparent.
Add the brown sugar, butter and caramel essence, and stir in well. Remove from heat. Whisk the egg yolks and add to the sago mixture and mix well. Whisk the egg whites until stiff and fold into the sago pudding.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
Mix the topping ingredients together and sprinkle over the top, return to the oven for an
additional 10–15 minutes or until set.
Any leftovers can be cut into squares when cold and eaten as a slice.
