Where can you buy it? In the Dominion Rd, Mount Eden area. Are the Chinese butchers in this area reputable?

Plates, I'm not familiar with the area you describe but any supermarket meat section will have pork belly. It's a lovely cut of meat, albeit quite fatty, but very flavoursome. It lends itself well to Asian flavours.

thanks, found some in the grocers market (former nosh)....expires tomorrow but I have put straight in the freezer. It was $15.99 per kg.
