Helen, I am going to make your one pan chicken dish tonight, I have my grand daughter here & wondered how hot dried chillies are we, have always grown them so have never had dried. Thank you

Like a fresh chilie, it depends on the variety. Just use any dried pepper of the heat that you're comfortable with. Unfortunately, hard to tell heat levels from those bought at shops!

You can always dry some of your own that you know Just maybe not for a meal this weekend!

Sorry that I missed seeing this Lyn, I use dried chillies that are around 4 cm in length and while they do impart some heat, they are fine for my teens. You could cut back to just 1 or 2.
It does also taste good without chillies. I forgot to put them in one night and it was still great.

Thanks for that I just went for what I thought with my frozen ones & all good, great recipe, will be doing that again.
