I have just been given a bag of feijoas and really need to freeze them but I have no idea how to.I have looked back the best I can on this thread and Dawn has given a great recipe using the frozen feijoas but I can't get to the bit where she freezes the pulp first. It was a 2011 entry can anybody help me with this or tell me how to freeze the pulp easily?. Thanks

Marylew - is this the part you can't get to regarding how I froze my feijoas? [www.foodlovers.co.nz]

You're welcome Marylew. I hope you enjoy the results of freezing the feijoas this way as much as I have. There may be excess juice when you thaw the feijoas so just use the flesh if using in a recipe i.e. crumble, and use the resulting juice somewhere else. It is too nice to toss out! But if you're using them in a 'fresh fruit salad' situation, then leave the juice in.
Regards,
Dawn.
