Freezing rhubarb

I have just pulled off quite a few stems of rhubarb but won't be cooking it this week.
Do you think it is going to make any difference as to whether I freeze it raw or cooked?
I just thought I would chop and freeze...

Chop and freeze is all I do Helen.

I do the same as Dawn. When I need it I cook it slowly from it's frozen state without thawing it first.

Yes, chop and freeze is what my Mum always did too, was just looking at mine and planning a rhubarb dessert over the weekend.

I microwave it til cooked and often I mix apple sauce with it and freeze it in punnet lots. My apple tree always fruits well and I cook and freeze the lot. Still eating last years. I never liked the look of it when it came out of the freezer.
