HELP - failed shortbread

HELP - failed shortbread
December 03, 2017 05:04AM
Emma has just made a double mixture of Edmonds shortbread. Everything was fine until it was on the tray and in the oven, when they spread so that she ended up with one big thin piece of shortbread. That of course shattered when it came off the tray. She made it in her thermomix, so perhaps it needed a tad more flour. She lives in China, so perhaps it was different ingredient quality. She now has a plastic bag of shortbread bits, and she doesn’t want to waste $10 of NZ butter! Any ideas for something delicious to be made with the bits so it doesn’t look like a failure. Like her mother, she doesn’t “do” failure. Haha. Thanks, Janet

How about this no cook chocolate and shortbread slice from Allyson Gofton?

If you search for "broken biscuits" you might get more useful results.
