Does anyone know where I can buy 50 mini soft hot dog buns in Auckland. Tried online but keep getting referred to wholesale suppliers for loaf and French bakery items.

Just a thought, but have you tried one of the bigger New World Supermarkets which has an in-house bakery. They may be quite happy to supply the mini hot soft dog buns for you.

A bakery would probably make them for you too, especially with notice.

Countdown sells packets of par-baked rolls that are small enough to use as mini hot dog buns. They're in the in-store bakery section. They're crustier than a traditional soft hot dog bun, but they're a good size.

The French Bakery has them [www.frenchbakery.co.nz] They also do contract baking.
