Best Before Date - Cheese

I have some sealed

Blue Cheese which is best before 13/11/2018
Sealed Wainui Creamy White Soft Cheese BB 1/12/2018
Triple Cream Brie Sealed BB 7/12/2018
Yolo Sealed Halloumi Cheese BB 22/11/2018

How many of these are still safe/good to eat and what should be tossed?

Thanks in advance.

I'd probably eat all of them.

I would too. Sometimes the taste is a bit stronger but itgertanthat I think they’ll be fine.

Just to clarify: Best Before dates are not expiry dates. They just tell you when the taste and texture etc will be at their best; they are safe to eat for quite some time after that date but the quality will deteriorate over time and it's up to you to decide if you want to eat them or not.

On the other hand Use By dates are there for safety. It is illegal to sell products past their Use By dates and you are best to throw them away if you have stored them past this date.

Give each one a good sniff and as long as there are no off-odours (i.e. odours that don't normally come from that particular variety) the cheese should be good to eat.

And remember brie and camembert SHOULD be soft or even runny, often the Best Before dates are set so that the cheese stays firm, but you get much better flavour and texture if they are after those dates. I try not to buy those cheeses before the best before date.
