lucky enough to have a LOT of plums this year, have distributed them everywhere but still have quite a few.
Question: how to freeze them, cooked or raw ?
thanks

Hi Adelaide, I find it easiest to halve and stone the plums and then freeze for use later on.
I haven't ever cooked with Luisa, we tend to eat them all and I wondered if they were as good cooked as the red fleshed plums?

I've cooked Luisa plums. I stuff them with a gluten-free version of the filling used in Sicily to stuff peaches and roast them. They hold their shape well and are delicious.

If anyone would like the recipe let me know.
