Robert Harris Oaty Raspberry Slice

Hi, I was hoping that someone might have the above recipe or something similar. It is a real favourite of ours at our local Robert Harris and I am keen to have a go at recreating it.

I have tried googling the recipe but most have coconut in them and I'm not sure that the Robert Harris one does. I also wonder if the raspberry has apple with it.

Can anyone help?

Thanks, Jacki

Most of the recipes I have seen for oaty slices have coconut in them. There is a very nice one on this site, Takaka Oaty Ginger Crunch, which you could probably use as a guidline. No need to put on the ginger or caramel topping unless you want it.

Thanks, will have a look at it - I love ginger crunch so would also like the recipe as is.

Jacki1 I don't know what Robert Harris Oaty Raspberry slice looks like, but this one has oats and no coconut and I wonder if it's similar? [www.recipetineats.com]

Thanks for that - I thought I could try it with fruit instead of jam (or a mixture of) which I think would make it closer to the Robert Harris recipe - other than the jam bit it appears to be quite similar.

One of our newspapers - might be Zest in The Press?? - publishes readers' request recipes from cafes so you might be able to ask them to try and get the Robert Harris recipe.

Jacki1 I haven't seen the Robert Harris one, but here is a recipe, I haven't tried it, but it may be similar.
