Hi Foodlovers, I've been given a bottle of whisky, and as I'm not a whisky drinker, I was thinking about turning it into homemade B****ys, and using it as Christmas gifts. I've been looking at recipes online and ended up a bit confused. Some use Irish whiskey, some use sweetened condensed milk, some use 'heavy' cream, and I think I saw one with eggs. Has anyone got a recipe they've made pls? Thanks in advance.

There's the gorgeous Advocaat made with eggs and brandy or gin. I prefer the brandy. Eggs, sugar and booze. So scrumptious. I'm sure using whisky would work too. I even bought a bottle of Napolean's finest and a dozen freshly laid eggs to make my own, but the brandy somehow dwindled away with little night caps and a splash in this or that, and the eggs used for other purposes. I am resolved to make my own though.
