Jasberry rice

I've found that our New World supermarket stocks Jasberry rice, and I'm going to try it, though I note the packets are past their best by date (it obviously needed better promotion!) Has anyone else tried it? I'd like to know how to make the most of it, as it's not cheap, but I agree with Helen 100% that supporting sustainably grown foods is the way to go!

Karena that is disappointing that the rice is out of date, it will be fine but still not right.
I have used the rice for a Teriyaki salmon bowl and also a rice salad.
I like the look and the flavour.

A correction - I've just seen that what I thought was the 'best by' date as printed on the pack was in fact the manufactured date - a shop assistant said that SE Asian countries often use this (it has mfg before the date) plus an 'expiry' date - so it's fine until Feb 2022! So I've learned something, and look forward to trying it.

Jasberry rice is excellent in stir-fries - its texture and flavour work really well. Thanks for letting us know about it, Helen - a great find...
