I had great fun today buying rocky road ingredients in bulk as I start some testing to see if a new little venture will be worth it.
It may be that the rocky road I like to eat is too expensive to produce to be commercially viable but we shall see.
My question is, what do you like in rocky road?
Currently my milk chocolate version has salted peanuts, pink and white marshmallows, toasted coconut chips and bound together with Whittakers creamy milk chocolate.
The white chocolate version may also have fruit jubes.
Some people also add broken chunks of digestive biscuits.
Any thoughts from you?

Definitely milk chocolate for me, cranberries, pink and white marshmallows and almonds or cashews. Definitely no coconut or peanuts. I wonder how one would go with (maybe dark) chocolate, crystallised ginger, broken up gingernuts and something else - cherries, white marshmallows or some sort of nuts?

My taste testers have given the thumbs up to my Hokey Pokey Rocky Road, essentially it is a bit like eating a marshmallow Easter egg and crunchie bar together. Good for those who don't like nuts and probably a young person favourite.
It isn't viable commercially as homemade hokey pokey only stays crunchy for a limited number of days.
It's good though.
