I am going to make a pie on Tuesday & know there is a trick when putting the meringue on so it will cling but I cannot remember what it is can anyone help me please.
A nice tart recipe would be a nice change too. Thanks.

Lyn I was trying to think of the tip but couldn't and then after reading cas's tip I think it was warm filling and meringue on top....
How did it turn out?

It turned out delicious & I googled what to do so didn’t slip but it did run a bit of liquid, not sure why because I read what to do to stop that. Never mind it was very tasty everyone enjoyed it, none left either.

It has just come to mind but I think it was Gordon ? not Ramsay that gave the tip in the herald when they had that lift out cooking section it often had tips in it. Maybe somebody Gordon.

Peter Gordon? He used to have a column in The Herald (maybe still does, I don't subscribe any more).
