anyone around with any spare glass jars with lids? I need some for jam and chutney and am clean out. Happy to buy or alternatively swap for some chutney...

I'm not in Chch so can't help, but have you checked the second hand shops and the charity type shops like sallys,hospice, redcross, and churches.
