Does anyone have a moist lemon poppy seed cake that has a lemon/honey syrup to pour over it? I have a recipe for an Orange version but i dont think this would be as tasty. Is it OK to substitue the lemon for the orange without altering the final product? The one I tasted today was quite solid, very moist and sticky-ish on top (poss had some syrup poured over top as well)and there was a boiled honey/lemon syrup to drizzle over if desired.
