As out small Catholic school we are wanting fresh ideas and ways of, as professionally as possible, presentsenting/promoting our school.
Being a Catholic school we are limited to the number of Non Catholic students (5%) only.
In order to keep the Catholic character/nature of the school, naturally we are limited to enrolling "outsiders".
WE are a great little school, well resourced, successful but a alot of people dont realise they "qualify" to be at our school as many dont go to church ( acatually going to church is desirable but not required.
We are looking for ways to promote our school that doesnt cost a fortune.
Other than expensive advertising, We had thought of adding a DVD of ourselves in our information pack, but now we are stuck .
We do do things well e.g Gala, community events etc. We do send stories to the local paper when we can.
ow do your schools promote themselves????

We are a little school, of 140. We call our local paper up and tell them pretty much everything we do and its up to them to cover it.
We do pay for minimal advertising as its quite expensive.
But the best form of advertising is word of mouth..

Another thing to do is a sausage sizzle at your local Warehouse and this is a great way to get it out there, make up a poster board with photos etc and some blurbs on it...
