Yes, you'll find that they are probably a blend of cotton and bamboo. While I haven't had any experience with bamboo towels, I do have a couple of items of clothing with a bamboo content. I find that they take a bit more dryng than regular cotton. Perhaps a consideration?

I've bought knickers made with bamboo fabric, and they are soft and comfortable but do take a long time to dry.
