Panic Stations!!!!!!
December 15, 2004 07:43PM
Oh! my goodness, it has been so muggy all night, plus a couple of night sweats, has left me feeling like a wrung out dish cloth. But to top it all off, I couldn't access the internet this morning and therefore couldn't find my absolute favourite web site and my wonderful foodie friends.
SHOCK! HORROR! *&!%#@!!!**@[email protected]#$$%&!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Somehow MSN had spat the dummy on me and I had to sign in again!!!!
When someone like me needs a foodlovers fix first thing.........after the night I've had...........this was the last thing I needed. Finally.............here I am........don't quite know how......but I made it happen. Maybe that's an omen for the day ahead..........that I will find a way to cope???!!!:/
Regards,

We had thunder storms here and the kids ended up in our bed sad smiley and its still not the best of days, but I guess that goes with being school holidays right.

Yes Foodlovers is a fix. And I get a bit lost without it.

Have a nice day.

Its going to be one of those days, thunderstorms during the night, the wind was howling around the windows and I came to work this morning to find my favourite fish "George" has died. Floating on the top of his bowl. What next!!!!

Helen, so sorry to hear about your fish sad smiley. I must be a heavy sleeper, I heard rain overnight, but no idea there were thunderstorms - maybe they bypassed my part of Hamilton, or my snoring drowned them out smiling smiley

I thought my snoring was bad enough Irene, but there definitely was very heavy rain and thunder at 11.51 to be precise as I looked at the clock and thought, oh bother, another WET day and it lasted about 3/4 hr. I dont know about you but I am getting very sick and tired of this unseasonal weather.
The kids used to know if I was "Sound" asleep when they snuck in the front door at some unearthly hour because of the noise coming from upstairs. Funny how you dont hear it yourself. Well, most of the time you dont. Occasionally have woken to think what on earth was that noise and then realised it was me snoring. At least I admit I snore not like someone else in our house, who swears black and blue HE doesnt snore. Have threatened to tape it and prove that HE does.

Forget about thunderstorms in the sky I have hurricanes in our house. Have just put the house on the market as we have bought a house in Hamilton. We intended selling about Feb. but Land Agent wanted the house to go on now to catch overseas market. We have English friends arriving Jan 29th to stay till 3 March and NOW received a card from another English friend who is flying in on 11/1 and wants to stay with us for a week or two.!!!! I have Open Homes all of January and auction is 15/2.
I spat the dummy at Hubby who just told me to calm down and not worry.
3 visitors staying at the same time with Open Homes and Auctions happening.
Im still spitting the dummy!!!! and .... my Christmas Day has gone from 6 people to 17.

Noeleen, you poor thing!! Just make sure at the end of each day, you put your feet up with a nice G & T, or if hubby is still telling you not to stress, insist on a foot rub and/or massage. Enjoy your visitors, mmmm can you tactfully suggest a motel????
