Does he work in an office or similar? If so, how about a little silver case for business cards; a business card holder for his desk; a nice pen.
If he travels you could get him some nice luggage tags. I found some brushed metal ones at Living and Giving and bought about 8 of them to give as gifts (and for myself too!).
Some sort of nice men's toiletries that he wouldn't normally buy (from the Body Shop or similar), like a body scrub or after-shave gel/balm.

What about some car cleaning accessories. I know that's not very original but is very useful.
Or like I bought at the Big Red Shed tonight......3 long handled barbeque tools with rubber grips and wooden handles, stainless ends. Cheaper seperately than a set. My old man is going to be thrilled.
A music voucher perhaps????
Chockies?????
Or make up a survival pack for the festive season........panadol, berocca, eyedrops etc, and a pkt of you know what's if he's single!!!! That's if you can joke with this guy and he won't be offended.
It's getting late and with that last suggestion.......time I got to bed!
Cheers,

Does he drink? I saw in our supermarket, they had a wide variety of diffrent wines all wrapped up nicely in cellophane with a ribbon and bow. It was the clear cellophane so you could see the label as to what you're actually buying.
Got a bottle for my Dad to add to his birthday present. Those poor people who'se birthdays get "lost" in the Xmas functions etc.
If he is a fun sort of guy, how about some novelty boxers.
Otherwise all I can think of it a plant. Either in a pot or if he has a garden, soemthing suitable to be planted outside.
I find males really hard to buy for, including my husband.
Linda.
