Hi guys - I have just downloaded "forefox" an alternative to Internet Explorer - "apparently" it reduces the amount of popups, spyware etc. etc. thought it was worth a try as I still have 10 or so files that Nortons can find but not delete (it used to be 8) - anyone else keen to experiment.....Microsoft rules - I don't think so....

I use this all the time and with a few tweaks runs faster and better than IE.
Less adds, and popups, but you need to download those extentions to get them, so you can disable those lovelys on your browser.
Remember its only a browser, its not running your comp. it is only showing you what you surf on the net.
Firefox is generally faster than IE, but if its slowing your comp down it wont be firefox casuing it, itll be either spyware or Microsoft digging in its toes...
I use this 99% of the time on all sites i surf. but i keep all my updates for IE in tip top order as well.
Each to their own and whatever you feel comfortable with use it.
