I see from another post, that you're a travel agent. Hope you don't mind me asking you a couple of questions.
We'd like to go to Fiji in August with our two kids. Monique has had ongoing ear problems and last year had two operations to repair a hole in the drum of each ear. At the moment, she hasn't had clearance from the ENT specialist to fly, as her eustation tubes aren't functioning 100%. She has a balloon thing to blew up through her nose, which she does twice a day for 3mths. Then we go back to ENT, who will do further tests to check on them. She had skin grafts done to patch the holes, and he said if her tubes aren't functioning, then the pressure in a plane, may blow the patch off. We got for another check up in March.
Do we book for her, and if she doesn't get clearance, then cancel? Would travel insurance cover this, as I guess its probably classified as "pre-existing"?
Also our 7yr old is a bedwetter. He's on the waiting list for an alarm and fingers crossed that by August he may be over this. Is it normal for hotels to change sheets daily, or should I advise them of this?
Thanks.
Linda.
