Hi Lesley We sell citrus direct from Gisborne from via our website www.twistedcitrus.co.nz We advise our customers to store citrus for no longer than a week in the fruit bowel then into a bag and in the fridge. They will last for a very long time in the fridge but do tend to loose there flavour over time. Hope this helpsby Citrus Girl - Foodlovers Food Talk

Ingrid Avocados ripen once they have been picked off the tree. To hurry them up put them with an apple or banana in a brown paper bag and put them in the hot water cupboard. Our newly picked ones take about 5 days to ripen in the fruit bowl at present.
