Re: Pizza Sauce - 17 years ago
You could use a commercial barbecue sauce from the supermarket. I do make my own but I just chuck stuff in it to my own taste so it's kind of hard to provide a recipe. It also varies depending on what I remember to add. I'm sure there are loads of recipes on the web.by DK - Foodlovers Food Talk

Just a comment on Craisins - they are sweetened dried cranberries so may not give the tartness you want for cooking.by DK - Foodlovers Food Talk
Re: Fabulous Cheese - 17 years ago
I loooove runny, stinky French Epoisse cheese. It smells like feet but tastes divine. The best way to eat cheese is with a knife and fork and a small plain green mesclun salad (dressed with a little balsamic vinegar if you must). Crackers etc. just fill me up and then I don't have room for more cheese. Another yummy cheese thing is any mild, soft goat's cheese with clear, runny honey drizzledby DK - Foodlovers Food Talk

Frozen spinach. I bought it on special thinking it would be not that great but okay in a soup or something, but now I always have at least 2 packs of different sorts (one chopped and one individual portions) in my freezer. Brilliant value and no fuss. Great to have as a vegetable or to stir through pasta with some sauteed chopped bacon and garlic, or to make a soup or anything. The otherby DK - Foodlovers Food Talk
Re: singaporean food - 17 years ago
I love the following website done by a woman in Singapore called Julia. It's basically a weblog but very readable and quite fun. There are lots of recipes and recommendations for places to eat in Singapore:by DK - Foodlovers Food Talk
