Does anyone have a recipe for potato with choux pastry mixed in with it that is baked at the end not deep fried?I have forgotten the name for this dish and have not made it for about 20 years.I am looking for a change from plain boiled. roasted and mashed potato.I don't really want to deep fry potatoes, although in saying that you wouldn't eat them everyday.I just thought a member might make themby marylew - Foodlovers Food Talk

A slight aside. Has anyone bought the microwave scrambled egg cooker that The Warehouse sells. They advertise it and the eggs look beautiful and soft.They don't give it a name so I can't check the price online.Just wondering what it is like.by marylew - Foodlovers Food Talk
Chicken in pastry. - 8 years ago
Does anyone have a recipe for boned Chicken Thigh that is stuffed and then wrapped in pastry and baked in the oven? I saw a recipe like this last week but didn't get the filling mix.Apparently the thigh stays quite moist inside the pastry.I don't want a mushroom filling as a friend doesn't like mushrooms but will try anything else.I tried to look on-line but I brought up complicated looking recipby marylew - Foodlovers Food Talk

I have bought a couple of lisianthus plants from the warehouse because they looked pretty and were marked down in price.They have finished flowering mostly but one seems to have a new flower coming.I don't know anything about them.Should I grow them in a large patio pot or in the garden?Will they flower for me again next season or are they spent now is that it for them? Irene what is a dragon fruit plant?do you have a photo of it?My daughter has an unusual fruit tree on the lawn at her new property.we have heard that the fruit is worth a bit of money when it's ripe.I have never seen this tree before so I was only guessing that it might be the tree that you mention.by marylew - Garden Lovers Forum

Is anyone a signed up with PayPal? Where do you buy these Regale lily corms? What time of year do you plant them and what growing conditions do they like?Are they expensive these corms to buy and do they multiply once you have them growing?My mother in law had some cut lillies in a vase at Christmas and the smell was beautiful it filled the room.She was given hers so couldn't help me with any information, but I would love to haveby marylew - Garden Lovers Forum

I have had heaps of trouble trying to access this site lately . One day the website wasn't available at all for most of the day, other days it has taken too long to wait for it to appear so I have walked away and tried later. Hi Griz can you explain the reason for growing flat leaf parsley and curly leaf parsley.I only ever buy the curly leaf variety .I admit that I am not a great cook but do the different plants give off different flavours?If that is the case which one is the most versatile for me to grow?by marylew - Foodlovers Food Talk

Thank you everyone the Breville Smart Oven Pro seems to get the thumbs up as I had already been looking online at that model as well as a couple of others.A big thank you Lorna for the information from the Northover Power site I was very interested in this and it has made me wonder if I should really buy a lower wattage oven or just go with Marion and J1 as they have good knowledge of this appliaby marylew - Foodlovers Non-Foodie Chat

I am wanting to buy myself a bench top oven.Am I right in thinking that it will save me power roasting this way instead of using my big oven?I am wanting to roast, bake, grill.
