When cafes pile lettuce on your plate there is usually a lovely minty vinaigrette. I can't find a nice one to buy so would like to make it myself. Any ideas?

Well I might have a little play, perhaps add finely chopped mint to a french dressing & leave it to enhance or instead of chopping it up put long sprigs into it & leave to infuse for some time. Not sure what else other than a mint esence.

Could you try using mint sauce to make a vinaigrette?

I buy a Rosemary and Mint Vinaigrette , online, from The Prenzel shop. It is superb.

Thanks Beverly, I have ordered some (and a few other things I found I liked).

I make a pretty mean vinaigrette, but something it's just convenient to pour it out of a bottle.
