HI, I need some kind of icing recipe that I can colour, roll out and cut shapes out of to go on a 1st birthday cake........I want to practise first as I don't want to pay $65-85 for someone to do it for me...thanks

Try the Royalty brand of White Moulded Icing. It is easy to colour and roll out. Our local New World has it for $3.01 for 500g, as I priced it tonight. Why make it when someone can do it so well for you. You will find the paste colours give you a better colour than the little bottles of liquid. You can buy those at a cake decorating studio.

Ditto to the white moulded icing. I did a huge wedding cake recently. Easy as.......as our teens say !
