Hi I was recently given a mistral igloo ice cream maker, but it didnt come with a manual.
Can anyone please tell me how we would use it, and some recipees also please.

The Mistral website - www.mistral.com.au - has downloadable instruction manuals for come of their appliances. I can't find the ice-cream maker on the website but you should try emailing them to see if they can email you a pdf or post you a hard copy.

hey there... exactly the same here... been searching the web for two days and their website isn't helpful at all!
so any help here would be greatly appreciated.
I've emailed them but no response yet... will have to call their customer service tomorrow!

Just had to go looking for this for my wife.

I can certainly recommend trying the Wayback machine - Mistral have removed the files from their live site. It's still cached here:

Hi

I have the mistral ice cream maker with instructions. Here are a few recipes

Old fashion vanilla ice cream

300ml milk
pinch salt
1/2 cup castor sugar
5cm piece vanilla bean or 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 egg, beaten
250ml cream

combine milk, salt, sugar and vanilla. Cook on medium heat stirring until boils

add half the milk mixture to the egg and mix. stir back into the remaining milk and cook over low heat until it slightly thickens

cool and refrigerated overnight

Add cream and mix

pour into the frozen canister and churn until frozen


praline almond ice cream

1/4 cup brown suar
pinch salt
350 ml milk
1 egg, beaten
250 ml cream
2 tsp vanilla essence
1/2 cup slivered almonds
1 tbls butter
1/3 cup chocolate fudge topping

combine sugar, salt, milk in saucepan and cover and cook over a medium heat until it boils

Add half the milk mixture to the egg and mix. Pour back into the milk, stir and cook for 1 min.

Cool and refrigerate overnight

Add cream, vanilla to mixutre and combine

saute almonds in butter over low heat for 5 min, cool completely then add to mixutre

Churn the mixture and towards the end add chocolate fudge

Hi I got the indulgence soft serve ice cream maker but no instructions, could anyone email me a copy or give any idea how to use it please. The wayback machine that some one mention before is great but I don't know how to use it.

Bill, did you try looking back through the posts to see if there was a link somewhere? No, I didn't think so.
Did you try a Google search with the name of the product in the search bar? No, I didn't think so.

Lorna as a 75.5 year old man I thank you for the pdf file which you kindly sent me the link to, I also bow to your superior knowledge as when I googled it nothing like that came up, anyway ta ever so, I'll try to do better next time and get the commas and full stops in the right places as well.
