I have a non stick iron that has black marks on the base. Any ideas on how to remove the marks without removing or scratching the surface of the iron?
Hi Sue,
Apparently you need to heat equal parts of salt and vinegar in a pan. Then rub the solution onto the cooled iron.
Their is also a tip for uclogging the stea jets with vinegar and water. Fill with equal parts water and vinger heat iron for 5 minute this should unclog steam jets. Found this on
[www.ask.co.uk]
(Ask Jeeves.) its quite a helpful site.
Kind Regards
Lisa

Hi Sue, Try steel wool. I have also used emery paper. Give the iron a wipe over when you have finished rubbing.
