Quince jelly query

Quince jelly query

I have been making quince jelly with success but have now run out of jars before running out of quinces. Is it possible to boil the quinces to the juice stage then freeze the juice before adding sugar and then make the jelly later in the year when I have more jars? Has anyone done this with success?
Thanks

I have done this with guava juice - it was fine

Would you freeze the juice that has been strained through the jelly bag? I imagine you would. Guavas and quinces have so much pectin in them that I imagine that's why it's fine to freeze the juice. Good to know as my quinces are just about ready.

Thanks for your replies, I'm going to give it a go rather than waste the fruit.
