The power is going to be off in a couple of weeks for approximately 4 hours. Is this a concern for any frozens. The freezer will remain closed.

Plates, providing that you don't open your freezer door, four hours without power won't compromise your frozens. The more closely packed together the better they will fare, so depending on how full your freezer is, perhaps think about rearranging it for the duration of the power cut.

We've had three days recently where our power has been off for 8 hours at a time, our frozens haven't even started to defrost in this time.
