Hi Gay
We have been fortunate enough to be able to borrow an Agee Preserver as we have a tree laden with nectarines, however, there was no mannual or instructions with it and wondering if you would be able to help me. Maybe scan and email or similar. Would be very grateful for any assistance.
Thanking you
Glenda

I have for sale a stainless steel electric preserver.
Its thermostat range is 90 to 220 degrees F.
It takes16 pint jars.
I have the jar holder lifting tongs, advertising pamplet and recipy book to go with it
It can also be used water boiler.
It was manufactured by Morrison Industries Hastings.

Hi,
just a warning here about some of the preserving recipes in the Agee manual. Do not use the receipes for fish and for non-acidic vegetables (e.g. beans) as water bath preserving does not get hot enough to destroy the botulism germ, so you run the risk of food poisoning from this type of preserve.
Only use the preserving recipes for acidic fruits, e.g. apples, pears, apricots, peaches, etc, and for tomatos(with added acid).
Here is a good USA web site for preserving recipes (they use the term "canning" for what we call preserving or bottling:
